I’ve been very happy with this white noise machine. It’s small, easy to pack, and simple to keep charged, which makes it great for trips.The sound quality is surprisingly good and works well as a sleep aid. Favorite purchase of the year for a house full of white noise snobs!
If I had an Oprah-style “Favorite Things” list, this noise machine would be at the top of it! My entire family sleeps with white noise. (I actually prefer the sound of “brown noise,” but I’ll use “white noise” as a generic term to cover all ambient background noises). We have noise machines in every bedroom. We’ve used bathroom fans for white noise, but those wear out and have to be replaced, and that is also a fire hazard. On my phone, I use the Ambiance app. For sleep, I like having a machine I can move to different spots in the room and house. I also love white noise when I need to read, write, or do any work that requires focus and concentration. When I’m working on my laptop, I have a white noise website in the background. Needless to say, I use white noise a lot, on a daily basis, and for various reasons.I also find that white noise makes travel more pleasant. We travel a lot for work, kids’ sports, leisure, etc., and I hate how much space the white noise machines take in the suitcases, especially when booking a place with more than one room for our big crew. Hotels can be noisy, and their bathroom fans are hit-and-miss. Sometimes they are tied in with the lights, which doesn’t work for nighttime noise, and sometimes they don’t even have a fan at all. I’ve used my phone or iPad for background noise at night when traveling, but then I can’t be on it (like if I want white noise for the kids to fall asleep to while I stay up later to watch something on my phone).Enter…the “Dreamegg.” I stumbled across this beauty and was intrigued and ordered it, but I was waiting for the catch. SPOILER ALERT: there isn’t one!!! I’ve had this for a couple weeks and like it so much that I just ordered another one for my office. I will likely end up getting one for every bedroom in my house. So far, it works perfectly and the quality is great. It is lightweight, compact, and will be SO convenient for traveling. I love that it doesn’t glow at night, because I like it dark when I sleep. I was a bit surprised that it didn’t come with a power block, but if, like most people, you have a plethora of power blocks, that isn’t a big deal. The cord is shorter than I would like, but again, I have many extra cords so that doesn’t deter me either.This noise machine has a wide variety of sounds you can cycle through (the typical white noise variations, water, crickets, fire, and even lullabies), and some great soothing options that aren’t obnoxious. I cycle through them in my attached video. It has options for 30, 60, or 90 minute timers if you don’t like to let it run all day or night. I’m impressed by the battery life. I’ve only charged it once since I got it a couple weeks ago. I’ve used it for several nights and once even forgot to turn it off all day, and it is still going strong.This is perfect for:* babies or young kids (great gift for a new or expectant mom!)* blocking out hotel noises* those who like to travel light* drowning out TV or other household noises (if you’re an early-bird in a house of night owls)* athletes who need a good night’s rest before a big competition* increased focus for reading, study, grading papers, etc.* anyone who wants a peaceful, ambient vibeThis is by far my favorite product of the year and it is well worth the cost. I have a sleeping disorder (i.e., my husband and his sleep apnea machine). The inadvertent snoring and bursts of air when it’s not working properly wake me up all night. I wear earplugs and a sleep mask. I needed help and the Dreamegg has done the trick. Its multiple sound options allow me to pick the tune and volume I need. Since it’s small, I can put it on my nightstand or in the bed between my husband and I to create a white noise sound barrier. Perfect ! I used it for 4 days straight all night long without a battery issue (it could have gone longer). So excited I can travel with this too!

Excellent little white noise machines!
I work at a daycare. I have now bought two of these for nap time in my room and am debating a third!To start with, they are incredibly user friendly, straightforward, and easy to use with clear buttons for the power, volume, timers, and forward/ backwards through sounds. They’re a very convenient size and you can either set them somewhere discreet or hang them off of a stroller, wall hook, or at home off of the side of a crib or anywhere else.In spite of the small size, the speakers are actually very powerful and carry sound well, so you can either turn it down and place it near you or place it farther away and turn it up.And, so far, they have survived my toddlers picking them up and running with them (and therefore tripping with them and sending them flying), pressing their buttons, putting them down the slide, and committing other toddler shenanigans with/ to them.They have a decent array of white noise sounds, including two different rain sounds that I personally like. There are two different timed settings that you can toggle it to, or an infinite setting so it keeps playing until you turn it off.Overall these are excellent little white noise machines and well worth their money!

Good Little Sound Machine
Loud and stays charged a long time. This little machine is great for travel if you need white noise to sleep like me. Holds a charge for a long time. Only thing I kind of dislike is the max it can run is 90 minutes. Sometimes when it cuts out I wake up due to the abrupt stop. Other than that, it’s great.

Perfect for travel or home
Great little sound machine. So tiny that it is perfect for travel or for home without taking up too much room on your nightstand. Very easy to use with on/off button, volume +/- and one button to switch between sounds. Great to drown out sounds while trying to sleep. Charges pretty quickly and holds the charge for long periods of time. It also has a sleep timer so you can choose how long you want it to run. Very reasonably priced.

It’s really tiny. That’s about the only thing I like about it.I would still have gone for the usual round version which is just 2x bigger than this but is as portable and lightweight still to carry around.The sound is not loud enough and battery life is ok at best, can’t complete one full night on full blast. If you are looking for a serious white noise machine for your baby, get the other Dreamegg

Brought this as when I’m traveling I can’t always keep my phone by my bed charging and playing sleep sounds. Being hard of hearing I kind of need it close by.Gave this a test run last night to see if it would work for me as obviously I need it to be loud enough for me to hear. Actually found I had to turn it down (compared to having to have my phone or a Bluetooth speaker turned all the way up), and was asleep with minutes.My watch even suggests I feel asleep quicker.
