    This is the best book of its type I have ever seen. WHAT IT IS AND ISN’T.
    You really should buy this book regardless of budget. I have bought, borrowed and read more than a dozen and read stuff daily on Internet. NOTHING I HAVE READ COMES CLOSE TO THE VALUE OF THIS BOOK.WHAT IT ISN’T:Written by fitness trainers or bodybuilders who know nothing about women’s bodies and expect you to be a jock.A little bit of science and loads of worthless, unrealistic testimonials and ridiculous recipes.WHAT IT IS:Written by a woman with health and nutrition background who has experienced the same struggles as the rest of us.Full of amazing info not covered elsewhere like, why carb ups are necessary, what to do if your poo smells like Chernobyl, why your hair might be falling out, how hormones affect keto and how keto affects hormones, why your ketones may be low even when you do everything right and why it might not matter. She covers Intermittent Fasting.Lots of specific info, not generalities. Like how to figure out your carb-up level based on your weight and how often you want to do it. THIS IS UNIQUE TO HER BOOK as far as I can ascertain.Easy to read, easy to get started. I recommend a hard copy, not Kindle. You’re going to want to refer to it often or skip around and you can’t really appreciate the graphics in Kindle form.Not cluttered with recipes. Goodness, you can get thousands of freebies on the Internet!I can’t say enough about how great I think this book is!

    So much great information and support for a keto lady!
    This book is so incredible – kind of a compilation of all the good stuff from Leanne’s podcasts, but in an easily accessible format. Seriously close to the best $20 I’ve ever spent! I wanted to skip over some of the entry level stuff but found some really good information there too. Just buy it, spend some time reading it, and listen to the podcasts (if you haven’t already). Leanne does not disappoint!The dietary information is great, but I think the biggest takeaway from this is the constant reminder that it’s so much more important to feel healthy and happy, than be the size you think you need to be. I started out on keto to lose weight and have found such an incredible support system reminding me that weight loss needs to be secondary in my journey. Thanks to Leanne for seamlessly folding that important message into your book for all of us keto ladies to hear!!!!

    The most comprehensive keto guide for women!
    This is by far the most complete, all-encompassing keto guide for women. Leanne really delves deep into the science, the mind and the body in this one. The best part is she covers all sorts of conditions and how to tweak your keto for optimum results. Also, I like how she has included information about managing stress, self-care, sleep and the “diet mentality” in this one. Taking care of you is also important in any journey toward well being. This book could really benefit keto beginners as it is set out in steps. But as a long time keto-er I found it to also be valuable as I still encounter challenges with body acceptance, self doubt and limiting beliefs. Her other books do contain roughly half info and half recipes. This book does not contain any full page recipes w/photos like her others but I liked that! (Even though I do love her recipes from her other books). If I encounter any woman who is interested in keto, this will definitely be the book I recommend as you get all the info you need in one resource.

    Great Resource for Women!
    I give this book itself five stars because it is filled with information for women interested in the ketogenic way of eating. Well-researched information, to be more specific. And what’s better, it isn’t just tailored to *women* but to all *sorts* of women: menopausal women, women with thyroid issues, and every other imaginable ‘variable’ that might suggest the standard (men’s) version of keto needs to be tweaked for each woman’s unique set of circumstances or medical issues or phase of life.My reason for deducting one star: the beginning of the book talks a lot about tracking macros and provides formulas to use so you can figure out what percentages of fat, protein and carbs might work the best for you. I took notes throughout this book and did a LOT of math figuring out what my percentages were. Then the author was all ‘don’t worry about tracking too much’ ? Okay, fine.Before reading that ‘don’t worry’ part, I had already spent hours looking up nutrition info on *many* proteins, fats, and vegetables in order to figure out what percentages and serving sizes would look like for me. From those facts, I tried to put together meal plans and it drove me nuts. Then *later* in the book, the author writes a simple hack for meal planning: pick a fat, pick a protein, pick a carb. I feel so stupid.

    Leanne has done it again! The author has a real knack for taking an overwhelming amount of information and breaking it down into easy to absorb chunks of information. This is a must read for all women. Even if you aren’t keto or interested in keto right now, you WILL learn something new and find a relevant takeaway in this book. I know I will come back to it time and time again.It’s well edited too and has excellent cross references throughout. It’s like a women’s health/keto textbook but without the high price tag and one you actually want to read lol! Well done Leanne!!

    Very helpful for women with hormonal imbalances like me (PCOS and Amenorrhea). The autor clears every questions that you migh have giving every detail (macros, %, numbers, calculation) with exemples, illustration and charts. You can be sure that she researched a lot to come up with this book. Quality material, colorful, info packed.

    Ich dachte das Buch wird mir helfen mit speziellen Tricks meine Hormone zu regulieren, aber leider besteht es zu 90% aus langen Listen von Essen, das man aus seiner Ernährung aussschließen kann
