my new favorite supplement
I was tired of the textures and flavors of my normal protein powders so I wanted to try Muscle Code and safe to say I am very happy with my decision. The berry flavor is good and even refreshing, and being able to easily mix into water makes it really easy to take on the go. I feel energetic and fresh during my workouts and my muscles are recovering faster after my workouts. And most importantly I’m still meeting my fitness and strength goals. Will be buying again.

Refreshing Flavor
I have tried other Amino acid and protein powders, most of which lacked flavor, left an aftertaste or didn’t dissolve well in water. Muscle Code pleasantly surprised me. The mixed berry flavor was refreshing with no aftertaste. The powder dissolved quickly into cold water.I take right after my workouts and it has helped to reduce my muscle soreness and improved my muscle recovery.

Sounds great but taste mildy unpleasant
I have no way to scientifically or objectively measure the advantages of using this product but based on its literature I’m hoping it’s been providing good material for my muscle growth and repair. I began using this shortly after a knee replacement which was requiring a great deal of muscle re-development. I’m hoping that this product fulfills and enhances that need.I was surprised when I opened the container that the amount of powder was less than half the container volume (see photo). I realize that powder material often does settle after packing so it wasn’t a shock, but I also wonder what the measuring cup volume relates to? Full container or settled container material density? The powder itself dissolves remarkably well even in cold water or beverages. A few shakes are all you need with no visible residue left behind.Opening up the container, the faint “berry” scent was not unpleasant. For my first taste I used the minimum recommended amount, 12 oz. I mixed it in plain water, shook it up with no problems and then smelled it again. I found the scent to be less than pleasing but not horrible. Then when I first tasted the mixed drink, I found it mildly unpleasant. This is contrary to many reviewers so maybe it’s a personal reaction but I really didn’t like the taste and had to work at drinking the rest of it. I found by diluting the powder with more water or mixing it with a flavored beverage that the offensive taste was less noticeable. I also wondered if this product could be added to cold food where its flavor could be even more hidden such as with yogurt or cereal.I haven’t noticed any digestive issues with using this product so it seems easy to assimilate into my regular diet.I’ll continue to use this supplement but unless I somehow sense a significant benefit by the end of this container, I’m not sure I’d rely solely on the company claims as to its benefits. I’d have given it three stars due to taste but since I can’t tell how much benefit it provides I thought it fair to split the difference and give it the four star rating. But there’s still hope and I’ll be very glad to update this review if I do notice significant benefits over time.
