Defective; Turns on, cannot be turned off (automatic turn-off when finger removed never worked)
worked after putting batteries in; but then could not turn it off (wouldn’t automatically turn off); after 3 days the batteries died. So: Junk; spend a few bucks more and get something that will last a few years (my original one from 10+ years ago, with a not so fancy “dot-matrix” display in orange still works great!)

My thoughts –
I purchased this finger pulse oximeter mainly because of the larger display, The screen is bright, clear, and very easy to read, It gives quick readings for blood oxygen levels and pulse rate. The device is simple to use — just clip it on and wait a few seconds. Results seem reliable. It’s lightweight and portable, making it easy to carry around or keep in a drawer. The only issue is if your hands are cold, and the fit feels slightly loose on smaller fingers. Overall, it’s a good value for the price and does what it’s supposed to do. it comes with a pouch so will protect the device.

Not bad for the price
CON: The oxygen alarms at 94% which is ridiculous and there is no way to change it.PRO: The strap is neck length instead if wrist length. Bright multi colored display.Otherwise it is about on par with others I have owned. The reason for 3 stars is because you can not adjust the alarms settings.
