This Pillow Was a Must-Have
When I received this pillow, I questioned how helpful it would be, expecting it to be another post-mastectomy item that I’d use 1-3 times before tossing it aside. I was wrong. It is comforting to use in the car, sitting in a chair, and during sleep at night. It provides soft padding without adding any weight and as someone who has both cats and dogs that like to cuddle, it provides a layer of protection from the fur babies who want to be pet. Surprisingly, I think I will continue to use it once I’ve fully healed as it is also just the right amount of filling to place behind my neck when sleeping upright – it supports my head.I love it!

Essential after breast surgery
This pillow is essential to surgery recovery. I am so thankful for a nurse that suggested I get one. It helps you get in the car and safely use a seat belt when leaving the hospital and to support yourself while you sleep. I wear it to walk around the house to avoid injury from bumping into things. I like that it has pockets to put small items in. I love it, my family now calls me the pillow lady. I haven’t used the seatbelt yet but I can see it being useful when you start driving and no longer need the pillow.

Comfort following breast surgery is possible with this pillow. Whether you are sitting or laying down at night, this pillow will give you the proper support.It will also add protection to your chest area if you have pets. I have 2 small dogs and was able to sit on the sofa with them without having to worry about their hurting me.I would highly recommend for anyone about to have breast surgery. Spoil yourself

This was a very essential pillow for recovery after my double mastectomy and reconstruction, it’s lightweight, soft, and has pockets. It washes and dries in decent shape and was a good value.

A must purchase after a breast reduction. Helped hold ice packs in place, very helpful for riding in the car, ESPECIALLY helpful if you have a toddler to help protect yourself. Still in great shape after two months of almost constant use.

This is an absolute necessity for mastectomy recovery.
I’ll be honest, I chose this pillow solely because it had a dog pattern to comfort myself following my diagnosis and subsequent surgery.This pillow was essential for any travel in the car. It is surprising regardless the model or age of car, exactly how much road vibrations you will encounter. Once you’ve had a mastectomy, you become aware, very, very quickly. This pillow not only protected my chest from the seatbelt (without the need to purchase a seatbelt pillow separately), but I was able to hug the pillow to my chest and minimize the jarring from the road vibrations. I used it for a couple weeks after I was driving on my own, just because the road vibrations were still bothering me.So it was a life saver.It is, however, not the most cuddly, comfy, snuggly material. It’s not coarse, nor is it irritating and scratchy, it’s just not soft and plush like other options. I didn’t mind, but FYI. Also, if you are a bigger girl, the arm cutouts might not be in the right place. I was able to fit it in and get my arms in, but it didn’t necessarily want to easily stay there. It wasn’t a struggle, but I did need to consciously hold it in place.I highly recommend you get one of these pillows. I absolutely love this one and the pattern is fabulous.

Awesome pillow – needs straps
Absolutely 💯 useful! Had my double mastectomy yesterday and this was a friggin lifesaver!I came to review and suggest a velcro straps(s) or something to hold in place when walking around and I see a few reviews mentioned straps. I double checked mine to see if I missed something, but definitely no straps.Will definitely to use while sitting and sleeping. THANK YOU for making something so useful in a time of need!
