There’s hope after 70 to be healthier!
I received this book about 2 hrs ago and have read every page. It’s so inspiring and I will strive to make IF a new way of life. Knowing why, what, when, and where is exactly the info I needed to get started. At 77 I’m interested in a healthy dietary routine and losing weight. Thanks for a complete guide.

Good Read and informative
Pros: I like how the author presented her information, a very logical breakdown of the material, and the information she had gathered on intermittent Fasting for the senior age group…..but….Con: I’m disappointed that the author didnt reference Dr. Jason Fung’s work, who is the doctor, Nephrologist, who did a deep dive into IF as a way to successfully heal his patients. He did a lot of research and and brought irrefutable evidence to his medical community that Diabetes is reversible, but they blew his research off as there was no money to be made in healing patients. But he continued to speak out in favor of IF as better, long lasting, weight loss could be achieved through IF, not more hrs on a treadmill or yo yo dieting. His findings were ignored and dismissed by the very organizations the author referenced as her resources.

I have been incapacited for months which has caused considerable weight gain and severe muscle weakness. My diet has consisted of sandwiches and ready made meals. I needed help and this book has everything I need to make the journey back to a healthy and fit life. I have read through the book and truly like what I’ve read. The author put her heart a d soul into this gem

The key is “balance” versus extreme anything as we age. This easy-to-follow book offers many fasting options that fit your lifestyle. The menu plans, recipes and exercises are reasonable; not difficult. Highly recommend this if you’re looking to improve your health and well-being.

For Upper Middle Class Only!
I am 75 years old, a widow, on a fixed income. I am probably representative of most 70+ ladies. I am interested in following a fast and eating healthier but cannot afford the products it takes to make recipes in this book such as ‘Grilled Lamb Chops with Mint Pesto and Roasted Butternut Squash’. Nor am I inclined to make the elaborate recipes in my small apartment kitchen. It would also enhance the book if it had drawings of some of the exercises such as ‘overhead tricep extensions.’ What is that anyway? I am inclined to return the book and keep searching.
