High Quality 4 Month Goal Journal
I did not realize this journal was only a four month journal. Especially given the size. For some reason, I thought it was for the whole year. I mean at least six months.However, once I got past the four month trauma, I sat down and really looked at the journal. It is well-made, the paper is high-quality, and it has prompts for making it a real wellness journal. The title says self-care, but for me it seems more like goals.I am starting an online yoga instructor training in February. I did not know how I was going to organize my time, or if I would make it a priority. This book arrived just in the nick of time because it forced me to really think about why I was taking the training and I now have a plan of action for how I can complete the training thanks to this journal. As I was going through, it felt like a lot of work, defining my purpose, etc. But that’s part of the process if you’re serious about a goal. I didn’t do it all at once I took several days to do it and I liked that it arrived in January before my class so that I had time to do all of the pre-work.I should also mention I bought this after receiving Clever Fox’s 5 year journal. I bought it knowing it would be a high-quality notebook I think my favorite part of this one is there’s a little sticker of a cat doing yoga.

Most gratitude/self care journals just have the same page set up with the same questions on repeat for all the pages, and it gets so boring and I usually just give up on them. This repetition may work for some, but for me, I need variety to keep me engaged. This guided journal offers new prompts and questions daily, for the full 90 days!There are pages to create your life balance pie chart, so you can learn what aspects of your life are bringing you joy, or the parts that are stressful or nonexistent, so you can work to identify ways to improve that slice of your life.There are goal setting pages, weekly review and reflection sections, areas for setting intentions and how you are going to attain them… Basically everything!And to top it all off the journal itself is beautiful, sturdy, and comes with stickers to put on your vision board and to use throughout the journal.This will be a great tool for your own personal growth, or if you’re working in a clinical setting, to aid in a hands on approach to client education as well.
