How to Use Pixie Cup Applicator
Step 1
Fold the cup into the heart shape fold
(we recommend applying Pixie Lube to the tip for even smoother insertion).

Step 2
Add your folded cup into the top of the Applicator Body.

Step 3
Gently insert the Cup Applicator and glide the cup into place.

Step 4
Once the cup is set, carefully remove and clean the Applicator before storing in its case.
What is the Pixie Cup Applicator made of?
Top Body: Mediprene TPE
Bottom Body, Glider & Handle: ABS
Case: ABS/PP
All parts include an antimicrobial agent to help inhibit the growth of bacteria on the surface.
Can I use a Pixie Cup if I have a tilted uterus?
This completely depends on your body and how your Pixie Cup fits you! Go ahead and try it out because you likely won’t have any problems. If you do experience leaking or pain, remember that we offer a 100% happiness promise.
Can I wear my Pixie Cup while swimming, peeing, doing yoga, having intercourse, or wearing an IUD?
Yes to all…except intercourse 🙁 As with all vaginal products, there is a small chance of IUD dislocation. We recommend talking to your gynecologist about using your Pixie Cup with an IUD and possibly having your IUD strings trimmed slightly.
Is the Pixie Cup Applicator reusable?
Yes. With proper care, it’s built to last cycle after cycle and helps reduce waste compared to disposable options.
How do I clean the Pixie Cup Applicator?
Antibacterial medical-grade Mediprene should not be sanitized using boiling water or high heat, as it may cause deformation. Instead, it can be cleaned with warm water and mild soap. For a deeper clean, we recommend using Pixie Cleansing Mist.

Wonderful
This is not my first pixie cup, or menstraul cup in general. From my experience pixie cups are the best quality and most comfortable. This set comes in a compact bag, very cute, won’t take up much space. This is my first experience with the applicator. It went very well! I did pinch myself a little but I’ve never used it before so user error. Make sure you put a foot on the tub, otherwise the cup will have a hard time unfolding. And make sure to feel it and make sure it’s sealed, give it a tug if not. Don’t be discouraged if you don’t get it right away! Cups are so much healthier for us and the environment! And periods are so stressful. Allow yourself patience and understanding. Give yourself grace. Don’t get frustrated 🙂

Needed emergency replacement and these worked really well
I normally use a Diva Cup but on my recent trip , it had been mistakenly left at home. I needed something quickly and this seemed ideal for my needs. I liked the fact it came with a small and large cup so I could adjust based on need. The applicator was easy enough to use and clean. It closes up nicely for travel/storage. The little soft sided travel container it came it was pretty nice as well. Once I use the wipes that came with it, I can put more in and extra pantyliners. The cups themselves are soft and easy to wear.

First Time User
I ordered this because my friends and I were going to the lake. I refuse to use tampons because they hurt when pulling it out and afraid to get TSS. Anyways, I’m really skeptical about using anything else other than a pad, and this was great. BUT!!!!!! I’m pretty sure I needed a different size because it felt like I was constipated 😂 it was uncomfortable at first and it took me two times to get it in right. Make sure to read everything on the website because they’re super helpful. Now let’s talk about taking it out, it was easy, and not painful. I did panic for a bit because I couldn’t get the air out the first time so it stayed stuck 🥴🤭 Removing it was disgusting, but I did it at home in my bathroom and showered right after. No leaks and my period is lighter now.

WOW. Way Better than DivaCup and Saalt!!!
I had been using Diva cup (model 1) for seven years. There was a learning curve, but once I got it I (mostly) got it, and accepted there would always be some leaks. I realized it had been far too long since I replaced it, so went shopping.I tried the smallest Saalt cup because I heard it could reduce cramps. Absolutely hated it. It leaked constantly and I could almost never get it to open, even after two months. Then i tried Pixie, the small (yellow). OH MY GOD. Where has this thing been all my life!!!!!The thing with cups is they are pretty easy to insert, and remove (you just have to bear down, and they will come back down so you can reach the stem). The issue is getting them to OPEN once they are inside you. Saalt never did. Diva would take some finagling, tugging and twisting, even after years of use.For some reason, and I really wish I knew why, Pixie opens so much easier. I barely have to try. It just WORKS. It also seems to leak way less than the Diva cup ever did.If you are comparing Diva cup size 1 with Pixie, GO WITH PIXIE. They are almost the exact same volume and width. I also think this would be a great cup for a first time cup user.It just…opens!

A miracle for heavy periods AND prolapsed uterus
If you have a prolapse and/or a heavy periods, this review is for you.I am 45 years old and 127 pounds. 20 years ago, I developed a prolapsed uterus. I have had extremely heavy periods since I was a teenager, but the prolapse made things much worse, because I could no longer wear tampons. I tried every different kind…they always sat uncomfortably low, making it feel like it was going to fall out. If I coughed or sneezed, it would. The largest pads couldn’t even keep up with my flow. I had many embarrassing occasions when, in a matter of a couple minutes, I would leak all over the place and onto the chair I was sitting on. 10 years ago, I had the surgery to try to correct the prolapse, but it didn’t help with the periods or the inability to wear a tampon. This past September, I went back to work after being a stay-at-home mom for 18 years. I started working as a teacher’s assistant. We don’t get a lot of breaks to go to the bathroom. There was no way I was going to be able to get away with just pads, so I decided to try a period cup. I’m a member of a social media group that lists Amazon deals and one of them was an off-brand period cup that shipped from China. It was a couple bucks so I took a chance. I used it during my cycle in September and was shocked by how well it worked. That being said, I was a little unsure of what it was made of, so I did some more research. After reading the Pixie Cup reviews, I decided to buy the double pack with a small and a large. The one I got from China barely lasted a couple hours on my heavy days. The Pixie Cup was definitely a winner if I compared the 2. The little knob on the “tail” makes it much easier to remove. The problem I was still having was that even the large cup filled up numerous times during the day and had to be emptied. I contacted the company and they sent me an extra large (this company is AMAZING and has excellent customer service!). The extra large is better, but the truth is, I have insanely heavy periods. I fill and empty an extra large about 4 times a day for 2 days. In addition, I leak, but I believe that is because of the prolapse. All that said, I just want to say thank you to this company. I dreaded my periods and was terrified to leave the house during the 1st 2 days of my cycle. I can now confidently go places and not feel like I’ll get into an embarrassing situation. Also wanted to add that I have tried one other “off-brand” that had a very long flat tail with notches in it. It was awfully uncomfortable. I even tried cutting some of the tail off. That didn’t help. The Pixie-Cup is super comfortable. I don’t even know I’m wearing it most of the time.Last thing – I have the sterilizing mechanism that is made by Pixie. That’s pretty awesome, too! It sterilizes all my cups in a couple minutes! Totally worth the extra money to know that your cups are clean 🙂

Had a better menstrual cup
I’ve been using menstrual cups for years. Before I purchased these I was using the cora cup. Which I think was more user friendly. Whenever I inserted that cup it would automatically unfold inside. But with these pixie cups. I’ve been using these for 9 months and I’ve noticed they don’t automatically unfold inside. I would have to dig my fingers around and try to unfold them to get a good seal. I switched from cora cause my old cup was was stained and it was being used for years so I wanted to try a new one. Plus this has 2 sizes. But now I see cora also has 2 sizes and might go back. It’s just a mild inconvenience that I have to fight these pixie cups to get a good seal everytime.

In previous years I absolutely loved using a menstrual cup, but having children and gaining weight meant to was becoming difficult to insert the cup. Fast forward a few years on reverting back to disposables, and I stumble across this little beauty!! I was so adamant it wouldn’t work, but boy was I wrong! Using lube most definitely helps and you do need to fully relax, but I havent had a single problem woth insertion or with the cup fully opening itself! It can be quite easy to pinch yourself when pressing the applicator to insert the cup, but my long nails probably contribute to that issue. It is so easy to use and super compact. Its a 10/10 from me. I wish I’d found this years ago. Thank you Pixie!

This applicator has made such a big difference for me. Before using it, I really struggled to insert my menstrual cup without it popping open too early, which was uncomfortable and frustrating. With this applicator, insertion is now easy and stress-free.It’s simple to use and has helped me use my cup properly and confidently. My only small downside is that it can’t be boiled for sterilising, which would have been ideal. That said, it’s still a great product and I’m very glad I bought it.
