Cheap, easy, and accurate!
Overall, this is a great little thermometer and well worth the price. I’ve found it much more accurate than even the expensive Vicks brand name ones that run twenty bucks or more.I have a bad habit of misplacing, and therefore losing, my thermometers. I therefore try to find decent, inexpensive ones. These fit the bill. I purchased two, and I still have both. One is still boxed and unused, but the one I have used has worked well and not died or malfunctioned since I purchased them (7-8 wks).The button is large, raised, and easy to push without being soft enough for double pressing. It is also waterproof sealed. The display is large enough for me to read unaided (middle aged with presbyopia and astigmatism), and has a three color led light to indicate normal, elevated, and high/fever temp. It can be switched between F and C. Unfortunately, the color/temperature range cannot be adjusted for those who run colder or hotter than average, so be aware of that. The colored light should be good for little kids who can’t read, for adults to see from a distance, or for someone who cannot read the numbers due to poor eyesight or other issues. It also has a memory function that keeps the last previous temp recorded, and it shows on the screen briefly along with the appropriate color when the thermometer is turned on.I typically prefer hard probes because I can keep them in my mouth without my hands, but I know that many people prefer the flexible ones. As far as flexible probes go, this one is on the softer side and is more flexible, and with the somewhat heavy body, it definitely ends up floppy and the tip won’t stay in place without holding the thermometer.It is fairly fast reading at 8 seconds, and quite accurate, imo, even with back to back readings. The deviation is typically within a tenth of a degree either direction (0.1), even if the tip moves to a less ideal spot, which is really good for such an inexpensive thermometer. The cover is nice and sturdy. Both sides are identical, so there’s no front or back. It fully covers the screen and button and is stiff and thick enough plastic to avoid accidental pressing or breaking, yet it’s not brittle. It also has a vent hole at the tip to avoid water collection and let the probe dry. There are indents on the sides of the cover to help grip it for removing or inserting the probe. The cover fits snugly enough to keep the probe in securely, but not so snug that it’s hard to remove. The manual is simple but detailed.I think that’s everything. Definitely a worthwhile purchase and would still be worth it at two or three times the price. Just get it.

Doesn’t work; bad directions.
No beep. Can’t switch between F and C despite advertised. Instructions are badly translated into English and illegible.I regret buying this. Sadly I missed the window of return.
