Saves a lot of space and gives a good workout
I got these because I don’t have the space for a full-size battle rope setup, but I still wanted that same kind of arm and shoulder workout at home. These seemed like the closest thing without needing a long stretch of floor. In use, they feel legit. They’re thick, sturdy, and well made, and they don’t have that cheap “this is going to snap” vibe. When you get going, they really do emulate the battle rope motion, so you can get that rhythm and burn without needing a rope stretched across the room. The only issue I’ve run into is the rebound. If I’m going hard, the ball on the end can swing back with enough momentum that it gets uncomfortably close to my face, so you have to stay aware of where it’s coming back. I think a slightly tighter setup or less slack would help with that.If you want a battle rope style workout but you’re limited on space, these have been a great option for me. Just be mindful of the swing back when you’re really putting power into it.

A surprisingly great upper body workout
Let me just say “Wow!” These little battle ropes work out muscles in your arms that you didn’t even know you had. When I first saw them, I thought it might be another ‘shake weight’ type gimmick, and my adult daughter said the same thing when I was taking them out of the box. Then I did what the instructions said and held my arms at a 90 degree angle and started swinging the battle ropes. It didn’t take more than a couple seconds for me to realize just how much they were working my arms and my pectoral muscles. I changed it up and swung them differently and began working my traps. Then I saw the little adjustable weights and started moving them around to see how having them in different positions on the spring would effect what muscles were worked the most and was amazed at how different it felt. My daughter refused at first, but I made her try them and she changed her mind as quickly as I had.I have fibromyalgia, pectoralis minor syndrome and thoracic outlet syndrome, all of which keep my muscles super tight all the time, and the only things I can do to loosen them up are exercise and massage. Exercise can often actually make the muscles even tighter, but after a few minutes of messing around with these, my arms, back, chest and neck felt looser, albeit worn out. I can see working these into my every day life and also into a healthy workout routine. From what I experienced the first time using these, I think these will be my go to from now on for exercising…now to find something like this for these thunder thighs!

Dual purpose workout
We don’t have a lot of room for our family gym, so my husband is always trying to find smaller items that will make an impact. When he saw these he instantly thought of our 12-year-old that’s on the spectrum. He thought it would be great for his upper body workout and be perfect for his tics. I wasn’t sold on the fact that they would make a real difference. The kids quickly learned the proper technique and they love using them. To them it’s a fun workout. For our son, whenever he feels that his emotions are getting the best of him, he will grab them and go outside and get in a workout. Since I didn’t think they would make an impact, my husband had me use them. It took me forever to get consistent with the form; I drove my husband nuts. But holy crap, the next day I was struggling. So these are definitely not a gimmick or toy; they actually give you a really good workout. The handles are very easy to get a firm grip. They don’t slip as you sweat. The weight is balanced and they are very well made. Adjusting the orange weights (rings) changes the level of resistance you get when using them. They are perfect for our home gym because they take up next to no room. This is one very affordable piece of home workout equipment that really works and is fun to use. I would highly recommend.

Light workout.
I’m slightly disappointed with these ropeless ropes because they appear to be well made and have potential to be a decent piece of exercise equipment. However, the resistance they provide out is barely enough to constitute a workout. I feel like it’s a bit misleading to show people in peak physical condition demonstrating the product when it’s really something only beginners or elderly people may benefit from. The wands come with two “weights” to adjust the tension, but to be a viable option for someone with a moderate amount of strength, additional / heavier weights should be included or made available for purchase.Aside from their shortcomings, like I mentioned, they’re made well and are sturdy. There’s zero learning curve to use them if you’ve ever tried a ropes workout. I should mention that you’ll want to be careful to keep other people and pets out of the way, not to mention your own face when you’re using them.

You’ll definitely feel the burn.
I tried these adjustable ropeless battle ropes and they are very easy to use at home since they do not need an anchor point or a large workout area. The resistance adjustment works well and lets you scale the intensity from light warmups to harder HIIT sessions. The handles have a secure textured grip that stays steady even when your hands get sweaty, and the reinforced center section protects the internal mechanism from drops or friction. The weight feels balanced and gives enough feedback to mimic the general motion of traditional ropes without the bulk.Portability is a strong point since each rope is compact and light enough to carry in a bag, and they store easily without taking up space. They work well for arm, shoulder, back, and core training, and short sessions can raise your heart rate quickly. The build feels durable with no rattling or looseness during fast movements.Overall, they are a convenient space saving alternative to full length battle ropes and a good option for quick strength and cardio sessions at home or outdoors. Good value for thr money.
