I bought this thermometer for home use, and it has been very convenient for our family. It’s quick and simple to check temperature, especially when someone isn’t feeling well. I like that it works both on the forehead and in the ear. So far, it has worked well for us and made things easier when checking temperature at home.

Measures air temperature not my forehead
75% of the time when I take my forehead temperature I get the temperature of the air. I’ve put in new batteries, cleaned the probes, re-read the directions, still nothing. The picture of the adult head is on the screen indicating I have it set on the right mode. Of course it’s way past 30 days & of course I didn’t register it for a 1 year warranty. It did this a little at the beginning but then corrected itself so I didn’t return it. DO NOT BUY THIS ONE. IT’S NOT DEPENDABLE.

Bought this as needed, couldn’t find my thermometer for ear readings and one of my twins was obviously feverish. Initial use was very cool, I like that this changes functions automatically when you take off the forehead guard. I also love that I don’t have to buy an extra filter for an ear reading.That being said the forehead and ear readings were wildly different. My baby was obviously feverish, noticeable by touch as well as temp taken with this via ear and underarm with a standard thermometer. The forehead reading was 3 or more degrees different every time and changed with distance, 1-3cm like recommended in the manual. While the ear function was more accurate it also had varying readings in the same ear taken multiple times in the span of a few minutes, some as different as 2 degrees. It’s fine in a pinch, to use if I am thinking about giving a fever reducer, but not what I would use to base the decision to take my child to the ER for a fever or not.

Bin rundum zufrieden und kann das Infrarot Fieberthermometer nur weiterempfehlen.Hilfreich ist die unkomplizierte Anwendung an der Stirn und im Ohr mit automatischer Modusumschaltung durch Abnehmen der Kappe, der Farbumschlag der Anzeige bei erhöhter Temperatur und die Memoryfunktion.Batterien waren enthalten und die Inbetriebnahme erfolgte schnell durch Ziehen des Kunststoffstreifens. Eine schöne Zugabe ist der passende Stoffbeutel zur Aufbewahrung.

This thermometer works exactly as advertised. I don’t have any complaints about it. It lies perfectly in your hand and measures the temperature quickly in less than a second. It comes in a nice pouch so you can store it without worrying that the display gets scratched or anything. The display is easy to read. Maybe not the cheapest option out there but certainly excellent quality. I didn’t experience any large differences in readings like some of the other reviewers. Maybe 0.1 degrees or so but not more.

Molto rapido nella lettura, sia sulla pelle sia all’interno dell’orecchio grazie alla doppia funzione. Non immediato come funzionamento perché richiede un doppio tocco iniziale ma una volta capito nessun problema. Lo trovo anche piuttosto preciso
