Great for morning smoothie
I’ve had a bear blender for about 3-4 years and have used it every day to blend my morning smoothies that includes a cup of ice cubes. It is still working great. I just bought another blender to take on trips as it is light weight.

Nice blender—great value!
I just got the blender a few days ago. It’s a great value for the money and a great quality product. It’s not a large size which is good for an apartment dweller. So far, I’ve made some smoothies and I tried my luck with making an açaí bowl for the first time which didn’t come out as expected but this was my first attempt and it wasn’t bad. What I especially like about the blender is that it doesn’t start until the parts are completely tightened.

Doesn’t crush ice very well
I bought this blender to use to make smoothies. Specifically, because it mentions that it crushes ice. It does not crush ice. It breaks the ice into smaller chunks, but not by any stretch of the imagination was my ice “crushed”.Other than that, the blender works like a blender should.
