I’m really happy with this waist trainer/trimmer! I was looking for something to give me extra support while jumping rope, and this one fits the bill. It’s wider than many others and supports lower rather than higher, which is exactly what I wanted.The trainer has a smart three-panel design: a large back panel and two side panels that angle slightly upward, making it easy to identify top from bottom. The shape fits nicely around your torso and stays in place during movement. The fabric has just a light stretch, offering a little give but mostly firm support. This creates excellent compression — you can snug it up for a tighter feel, or adjust the velcro straps for comfort if needed.The two velcro straps make everything secure while remaining easy to loosen or tighten. Out of the package, the velcro was really strong at first, but now functions perfectly. I’ve only owed this for a day… but I’m in love already. I’d say the sweet sweat belt.. without the oil.. I’d already be sweating. This mermaid one doesn’t make me sweat as much or as fast…but I prefer that because it’s more comfortable to wear and I feel like I could wear this for longer periods. Personally, I’m 2 1/2 years post partum and I still have people asking me, “so when are you due?” Because my baby belly did not go away. So I’m hoping to wear this all day at work to hopefully shrink my belly and improve my posture. I’ve been working out a lot lately and I have a desk job.. I also have an incredibly bad back. So I’m excited to see how this works for me when I’m on the treadmill.. will I sweat as much as I would with sweet sweat? I don’t know…but regardless if I do or don’t.. I’d still wear this every day to work because it’s comfortable, very supportive and snatches my tummy right in.As a side bonus.. they give you two little fabric hanger pieces. I assume so that you can hang it on a hanger to dry. I usually cut those off my clothes immediately, but if you like that.. they have that.Con:For me, and probably me alone.. the only con is that it’s still too short for my torso.. I know most girls were saying it’s too long.. but I don’t share that complaint. It has more coverage than sweet sweat.. but still doesn’t cover my torso.. which causes fat to bulge up or down depending on where I put it.
