    Nice.
Works just like every other one I’ve used. Easy. Came with batteries which was really nice. Pretty accurate. If you have a larger about of muscle, (even if you are over weight) make sure you select athlete instead of normal. Check both and see which seems most accurate. I’d say it’s accurate with in 2% give or take.Gives you a really good idea of your lean body mass, so you can really see if you have put on muscle or fat. Lean body mass = body fat % x weight. Then your weight – that number. If that number goes up, you have put on muscle.Always go off of body fat % and not bmi

Seems to work okay, but no idea how accurate …
Seems to work okay, but no idea how accurate it is given that my particular unit is not calibrated against, for example, a float-tank BF analysis.

Great tool for body fat determination!
This is very handy for detail tracking of body fat percentage. The feedback you get from knowing the numbers tells you if you’re on the right track and can be very motivating seeing that number dropping based on your efforts.

    Wildly Inaccurate
Update: The seller offered us a refund, so, the company is ethical. Maybe our unit was just broken….Okay, I hate to diss this item but…there is no way it’s accurate. I’m 5’5 and 147, so at the top of healthy BMI, and it comes back saying 18% body fat. This would be great if true but…I’m breastfeeding with much to love. The way I knew it was really broken is I had my husband try it too (he is 6’3 and 218 lbs…with a huge pot belly, we are just starting him on exercise). He too got 18% body fat. I took a couple different readings with the maximum reading being 22%. We are holding the item exactly as described…it just…is wildly inaccurate. We are therefore initiating a return. I was really hopeful this thing would read even remotely accurately. But it seems no matter what settings are changed it still comes back at 18%. Maybe this is the magic number people want to hear?

    Accurate, easy to use
I bought this to monitor my fat loss and I was so happy to see that this scale matched the readings that I got on the same scales at both my doctor’s office and gym. It is accurate, and so simple to use! The readings are large print, easy to read, and it takes only a few moments to get a reading. By far the best tool I have in accurately monitoring my progress towards my fitness goals.

    Interesting only for changes…
As a “hard core” 55-year old cyclist who regularly rides more than 100 miles per week, I bought this to get a better idea of my body fat % but I think that it is minimally useful for tracking body composition and highly inaccurate.I was disappointed to continually see personal readings around the 20% fat mark (I seemed to be FAR less than that – I now have very little body fat on me and I even have a veiled “six-pack” appearance) although it did seem to track small changes to some small extent. One day while playing around with the device settings I changed my age down from 55 to progressively lower values. Each time I did this I was very surprised to see my body fat melting away by simply lying to it about my age. Setting it down to age 25 gave me a reading of 10-12% fat which I think is probably much closer to reality. How silly!I also must use the athlete setting or it promptly jumps way back up again by 10% or more. But why is my age making such big differences to the reading and not the “electrical” measurement?I believe it is because these devices all have HUGE problems determining actual body fat and instead make a “best guess” based on some statistical algorithm developed for the population as a whole and then ONLY slightly influenced by your actual electrical impedance.Sadly, athletes interested in their body composition are often nothing like the population as a whole and so IMO this approach rarely works and it is not very accurate. In other words it is pretty useless to me now. A toy really but a great recruiting tool for the “training package salesmen” at the local gym.

    great item
Seems pretty acurate..meassured my fat at different times of the day on diferent days and it seems to be same reading everytime..might be off by a point here and there, but overall same reading. ..I didnt like what it told me..haha..but that doesn’t mean item doesn’t work. Just means I have work to do .
