Good starter kit, but insertion can be tricky – definitely a learning curve
This kit is thoughtfully put together for beginners switching from pads and tampons – the lube and applicator are nice additions. The cups themselves are soft and comfortable once properly inserted. It took a few cycles for a proper fit, just be prepared for a bit of trial and error. Once you get used to them, though, they’re great for your body and the planet!

The quality of this product is great. However the design is terrible, you cannot get the dang thing out. It’s little nub is a small and it’s not that big of a places for a lot of things so getting it out was horrible. I’ve used other ones that were much easier to get out. I also liked this for the applicator but didn’t end up using it since it was so hard

Menstrual Cup Set
I have been using menstrual cups for 15 years and over that time I have tried a lot of different cups. I feel like it is a bit of a Goldilocks search for the perfect cup and what works great for one person, does not work well for another. My first impressions of this set was good. I liked that you got 2 different sizes to try and I really liked the case that it came with. I did not try the insertion device as I do not have any issues inserting my cups.I cut the stem off of the cup as I find that this is necessary on all my cups. The larger size cup is just slightly wider and shorter than the larger size Diva Cup. This is actually something that I really like as it works well with my anatomy. I tried it out on my period and found that the material is thicker/firmer than most cups, including Diva, and this made it uncomfortable to remove. I feel like there is a sweet spot with firmness where you need the walls firm enough to expand once inserted, but too firm leads to a bounce back effect when removing and it can be painful. The firmness of the cup means this one will be put away for emergency use only and I will go back to one of my other cups.

This is my first time trying a diva cup and I absolutely love this kit. I’ve always been hesitant to try one because I never knew how they worked, didn’t know how to place one correctly and was worried it would get stuck. This beginner, friendly, diva cup kit has all the information, explains the safety facts, how to install it safely, how to remove it if it gets stuck and how to make sure it is the right size for your cervix. This whole kit is about body positivity and self-care, and I’m all for it! Let’s be honest it saves you so much money too because you only need to purchase this once instead of buying period supplies every month. I highly recommend!

Not for smaller girls
Okay , this is a sweet setup ! You get two different sized Menstrual cups ,a Menstrual cup insertion thingy, a Menstrual cup storage container which is really cute and some lube to help insert the Menstrual cup .The Menstrual cups look well made and easy to use , as well as to clean . The lube seems decent from the packaging but I did not use it since I am prone to infections so I cannot say how well it works or exc .I ended up being to small down there to use the small one and wasn’t able to get it in and I was too scared to use the insertion tool because that looked pretty big to be honest .If you are bigger down there one of the two of theses will definitely fit . If you are smaller you may run into the same issues .

A great set for anyone looking to try out a period cup
Upfront disclosure: I received this item through the Amazon Vine program for review.My wife has used period cups for a while now and she has found them to be a much better way to deal with her monthly cycle with far less waste. Finding the right fitment is sometimes and issue but there are typically two sizes and this set includes both sizes and made of quality silicone that matches the others that she owns. They included a lubricant if you need it that is fairly viscous and designed for use with silicone. But the real bonus here is the applicator. Getting these to fit right manually can be tricky and it is something my wife has always found a challenge. The applicator holds the cup in the perfect folded state allowing for a much easier placement that is correct and functional. This is a perfect set for anyone who has not tried these cups before since it includes everything needed get the right fitment and placement.

AbsolutelyI have previously used a SHORDY menstrual cup, so I knew what to expect in quality, but was interested to try the applicator that came with it. The set comes with the 2 cups, a carry case, lube and a plastic applicator. The cups both fit neatly into the carry case which is made of a decently sturdy plastic and is compact enough to fit in a large pocket or a bag. The cups are in 2 different sizes so you can use what suits both your flow and body shape too. You may need to trim the stems depending on how deep the cup sits inside you, but it is easy to do with sharp scissors. The applicator I personally found awkward to use, possibly because I already have inserted manually for over a decade. I imagine hte applicator and lube would be very helpful for new or younger users of the cups however, and the applicator is made of a sturdy plastic which also has a cap on it. The lube is a water based aloe lube, it has a watery gel like consistency which dries on the skin fairly fast. Overall this is a great priced set, even for the cups alone, with all the other items you’re getting a great kit for starters or just anyone who needs a new cup.

So, I’m familiar with the Shordy brand, which is my go-to for menstrual cups. I think they can be a really good product once you have found your ideal method of insertion and have gotten used to getting them to form a proper seal (but, hey, no problem if you try this sort of thing out and it turns out not be for you!).These cups seem identical to the ones I already own, so they’ve got a good build quality, are easy to manipulate into the shape you need them to be, and don’t retain undesirable scents too badly.I’m a little confused by this set, though. I suppose with the helpful instructions, applicator, lube, and inclusion of both S and L sizes of cup, it would be a good gift or starter pack for someone new to using menstrual cups. But then, once they work out the size of cup they need, outside of very specific scenarios, one of them would just go to waste? I note that the brand does offer sets with two cups of the same size. Personally, I think a set of cups with a carry bag, cleaning container, and hygiene wipes included would be more useful.The applicator seems well made. I also didn’t quite see the need for lube, unless you might be trying to be prepared ahead of time?I took one star off because the case to hold these cups is terrible! Horrible, cheap, moulded plastic with unfinished edges, and a HUGE downgrade from the case that was provided with my original Shordy cups. You can even still see pictures of the original case on their Amazon page.

The inclusion of a tampon-style applicator is genuinely innovative for the market; it holds the folded silicone cup for you, allowing you to insert it smoothly without feeling like you are wrestling with yourself in a bathroom stall. I also love that it includes both a Small and a Large size in one box. Finding the right fit usually involves expensive trial and error, so having both options to accommodate different flow days or cervix heights is incredibly practical.However, while the applicator sounds perfect in theory, it does have a few practical drawbacks. For one, it is quite bulky—resembling a very large plastic syringe—meaning it takes up significantly more space in your handbag or bathroom cabinet than a standalone cup, which removes some of the “discrete” appeal. Additionally, you have to be very careful when withdrawing the applicator to ensure you don’t accidentally tug the cup back out with it before the suction seal has fully formed. Finally, ignore the confusing “Period Disc” mention in the product title; these are traditional bell-shaped cups that sit in the vaginal canal, not flat discs that tuck behind the pubic bone.

I needed a new menstrual cup, and the large one in this pack is a great fit. You can tell these are medical grade, it feels very comfortable to wear – even all day – and doesn’t irritate the skin or area at all. It has good capacity, and I haven’t suffered any leakage at all. Simple enough to clean, as well. Takes a lot of stress out of going outside. It even has an applicator and lubricant to help with insertion, which is a nice touch.
