Perfect for My Use
So far this sound machine is perfect. Volume is easy to adjust. Easy to use. Small and takes up very little space. Love the small square design and black color. It is just perfect for my use which is to provide my bird with background sound. The price was good, too.I would purchase this again if for some reason it quits working.

Surprisingly good sound quality
I’m impressed my the quality of the sound for something so compact. I love it! the noise settings are great. I got it for pink nose, but love the brown noise. There are a bunch of guys who sit outside my window and smoke, cough, yell, and complain around the clock. This blocks them out even better than the AC unit and for a lot less money! It’s also very loud for the size. Some people complain that it’s too loud even on the quietest setting, and I can see why. It won’t turn down to a really soft sound, but the point of it is to block out noise, so it’s not a problem for me. I haven’t turned it all the way up yet. I just know that it got way louder than I’ll ever need it before I hit the upper limit. It gets loud enough that I can’t tell if the AC unit next to it is running out not. I’m really pleased.I can’t say that I’d recommend it for the music settings, as the sound quality of a single, tiny speaker isn’t up to replicating a piano how is like to hear it, but I’m really picky about audio. There’s no way the “Alpha Wave” setting can change brainwave frequency with a single speaker, but it’s a choice I’m sure someone will appreciate. Just not me. I’ll stick with the noises.A lot of people complain that you have to cycle through the settings and they’re not grouped into categories like some similar products. I don’t have a problem with this. It took only me a few minutes to get familiar with where things were and I think most people will be like me and find there are one or two they like and get to them quickly. Honestly, every time I’ve taken it off the Brown noise setting to give something elsea try, I end up back on Brown noise after a few minutes anyway. I’d guess that 98% of people will find what works for them and just keep it there like I do. I chose this one because the reviews I read about the ones that have the more sophisticated controls used looped sounds and there are audible clicks when the loops cycle. All of the sounds on this one are smooth and clear. I only wish it projected sound 360°. It would be great if it sent noise out the back to prevent the inside sounds from being heard on the outside. Even though it puts sounds out on three sides, the quality and quantity of the sound varies greatly depending on the angle. The sound coming out the sides is insignificant compared to the front.Overall, a very compact product that doors what it says very well and provides surprisingly good sound for the size.

Great quality and price, Works as advertised
Great look and build quality, does exactly what’s advertised, and the sound was incredibly good compared to what I’d expect, especially from a sound machine of this price. (which is a good price, of course)Lightweight, but heavy enough to hold itself down well and feel good quality.Would definitely recommend if you need a sound machine. The only downside is that cycling sounds can be kind of annoying sometimes, but the alternative is either an app-connected device that you can select sounds for in an app, a more costly and probably very low quality built-in display, or way more buttons than is necessary, so it’s a fair design decision.

Smaller than I thought it would be, but perfect for my already over crowded bedside table. Easy to set up. Has a small light that shines on my ceiling when in use. Great choice of sounds. Lulls me to sleep.

Good little noise machine for sleep
I’ve been using this little sound machine for almost 3 weeks now at night when I sleep. I was very skeptical when I bought it but it turned out fine. I’ve slept with a fan running at night year-round for about 50 years now. I can’t sleep in a totally quiet house. I’ve always used a small, tabletop fan but they don’t last very long anymore. The last 3 or 4 fans I bought only lasted a few months until they started making a clanging noise which was very irritating and unacceptable. They were all different brands but they all eventually made the same kind of noise. I was going broke replacing fans. So I decided to try a noise machine. I just picked this one out on a whim and I’m glad I did. It works great and from the very first night I ran it, it lulled me to sleep. I use the “soft fan” sound and turn the volume up fairly loud. The “loud fan” noise sounds too much like static to me, although others might like it. With 30 different sounds to choose from, everyone should be able to find a sound that works for them. This little machine fits nicely on my nightstand and runs all night long until I shut it off in the morning.

Better than similar choices
Directional speaker, sound quality isn’t bad, speaker is loud enough keep relatively close, but what I really like about it is 1) speaker is louder than the other noise machine, and 2) noise options have more depth…I bought two kinds of noise machines and compared and this one came out on top!The other speaker’s max volume was sigNIFicantly quieter and of lower sound quality over this one. They had most of the same sound catalog, except this has more music options and the other one had “blue noise” except it didn’t because I know what blue noise sounds like, they just had different shallow white noises, one of which they tried to pawn off as a blue noise. Blue noise is a kind of white noise but it’s like,,,an ocean but far zoomed out and layered, anyways the one I returned didn’t have it. This one also had a few white noise options that were layered (but also had depth!), which is great because I typically layer my noises with multiple Youtube tabs.Anyways, better speaker, better options, and more practical! Now, this one implied it can be charged/used without being plugged up, but that us not true.
