Very handy 3 pack of tape measures. For the price you can leave them in multiple places around the home. The retract mechanism seems strong enough to quickly bring tape back in. Nice and comfy for in the pocket. Good value for the cost.

This is a basic tape measure made of a sturdy plastic, and the tape measure itself is coated. It retracts easily, although I’ve had other ONES THAT FELT VERY STURDY AND RETRACTED WITH VIGOR! But to be honest, they’ve lasted longer than I expected.They’re a bit CHEAP, but it’s thick enough and is easy to use. I bought it because the listing was for 3 retractables and one sewing tape measure and it was very inexpensive. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!!!I put them in different spots in the house where I know I could grab one with ease. I also have one at work, Physical Therapy Clinic; and it have come in handy for necessary measuring for, for example, checking to see if there’s a leg length discrepancy in a patient. I am going to purchase A REALLY GOOD ONE FOR WORK and when the others wear out at home, I know to buy better.I’m currently using one for professional work purposes, and they are only fair+ quality. I will be seeking out a really good one to use at work IMMEDIATELY. When one retracting tape measure fails at home, I will purchase better ones.These are just ok and I wanted to be very honest with potential buyers.Seek better ones for work and home purposes because when used frequently, these will fail, in my opinion.

Accurate
I bought these for my orchid judging group. We need to measure the segments of awarded flowers in centimeters. I wondered, since these are very inexpensive, if the markings would be accurate. I measured them, on one tape, against a ruler I own that comes from a high precision company, made for scientific purposes. This inexpensive tape was right on the money. I am very happy with these.
