    I guess it’s not so shocking to learn that 45 million people in U.S. try to lose weight and most are women. The book teaches about simplifying your health, reigniting your energy and help you feel amazing. The secret is intermittent fasting and how it helps and why diets fail women. Start with shorter fasts – 12-14 hours. This book also explains hormonal fluctuations. A good read.

    This is an amazing book. It’s rare to find one on intermittent fasting written specifically for women (at least I haven’t come across one), and the author clearly understands what we go through. I loved how she explains the positive impact fasting can have and takes hormones into account – because, as she says, “hormones matter a lot.” The guidance on how to adjust fasting and eating habits around hormonal changes is thoughtful and practical. It’s carefully written, easy to follow, and full of useful, relevant information. A great book – I’m giving it 5 stars.

    I have just started to get into intermittent fasting and I am liking it so far. I just felt that as a woman over 60 I needed a bit more guidance. Even though the book is not specifically for over 60’s it still covers that and a whole lot more on the mindful aspect which I have found hugely beneficial.
