AN ABSOLUTELY AN EXCELLENT PRODUCT THAT PERFORMS FLAWLESSLY, AND IS BUILT QUITE QUITE STURDY
This is the newest generation of the ThermoPro TempSpike Plus temperature probes and I found the features ability and software to be excellent. My particular application is barbeque, although I will tell you that probes themselves readily transferred to use in the kitchen such as when we boil chicken for our dog’s foodI think what is most important if you’re considering purchasing something like this is that :A) The signal will actually go through the lid or the wall of your grill andB) That the signal will actually carry for a good distance without issuesI found both of these criteria to be well satisfied by these probes!!Additionally, the software feature that comes with these probes and the design of the homebase as a relay station were just excellent!! Everything works like it should, intuitive easy to understand and easy to useLastly, I’d like to add a comment about a personal experience that I’m embarrassed to talk about, but in terms of a customer or another person considering purchasing one of these, I think you’ll be very interested to hear. I own a Pitboss Titan pellet grill and it functions wonderfully, gets quite hot. It has three shelves internally to cook food on and I hate to admit it, but like an idiot I wanted to test the probe out cooking vegetables, so I stuck the White probe into a bell pepper and placed it on the upper shelf. No issues there, it tracked the temperature just fine, but if you think of it, a bell pepper has soft skin and yep that’s right, as soon as I reached for the bell pepper, the probe fell out down into the bowels of the grill and it ended up resting on the plate below the grill directly above the fire box. There was no way that I could recover the probe and I know from using my IR gun that the temperature at that point where the window was open, searing meat, the temperature of the flame was almost 800°. The ThermoPro TempSpike Plus itself is rated to a max temp of 572 F, but long story short my probe traced high off scale and I simply assumed it to be a melted worthless mess. The next day, once a grill had cooled down, I retrieved the probe and my first surprise was that it the probe was completely intact and there was no obvious physical damage, melting, et cetera to the probe or the casing tip whatsoever! The pictures I posted are after I pull the probe out of the grill!I kind of figured possibly maybe, I don’t know, it could work? I figured it had gone all night and the battery was probably run down if it even existed any more, so I put it back in the holder, and allow it to charge for about as I recall 6 to 8 hours and GUESS WHAT?!! Lo and behold I was actually holding my phone when the probe came back to life and it tracked perfectly!! Having bought two probes, the Twin TempSpike Plus, I was able to verify this several times over the next couple of days by simply using both probes in parallel together when I was cooking and watched how the temperature tracked – and the probes tracked perfectly in alignment with each other!!I could not be more pleased with these results!! The fault and the stupidity were mine entirely, but the quality of this product saved my bacon and saved me the cost of having to replace the probe!!I would highly recommend the ThermPro TempSpike Plus – and I stated by the twin set!!

Quality, Easy to Use Thermometer
This thermometer works great! I’ve used it extensively with two different smokers and even in my oven inside. It is really nice have two thermometers to use, especially when smoking brisket, turkey, multiple racks of ribs. The range is pretty good on the base to TempSpike, and then being able to connect the base to your phone means I’m able to view the temps anywhere around my house and yard. In my experience the base needs to be within approximately 15-20 feet of the TempSpike thermometers when used in a smoker outside my house. The temperature updates quickly, the display is easy to read, and the magnet on the back is nice. It’s been a great value for me so far.

Let’s us cook our food to perfection
This worked great! We used it on our Thanksgiving turkey and tested it along side one of those automatic pop out indicators. We pulled the turkey out at the recommend 10 degrees before done and let it rest. It climbed up to temp and the alarm went off at the same time as the other device popped. The turkey was perfectly done. We’ve used it several times since and we’ve been able to just set it and walk away. The only recommendation I have is to make sure you keep the base and probes charged. We forgot and had to switch back and forth while trying to charge them enough. The app is also great because if you’re someone like me, who obsessively monitors things like that, you are able to see the temperature graph as well as the estimated time to done.

Poor Battery Life: Good Product Idea, Bad Product Experience
I hope my experience is a fluke. In two times of using this product, both times, it has failed. I had to return the white probe that wouldn’t connect. Customer service was very good to replace this for free. Now the black probe battery only lasts about 4 hours (first use) on the battery but is supposed to last 36 hours of battery life. It died after a few hours in a brisket and it was fully charged before I used it. I’m planning to return this and will try another wireless version. I didn’t like the app that is supposed to be used either. Brisket done temp in the app only goes up to 165. What?! All brisket makers know 203 is the magical temp. You can edit it, but real bbq folks should know the temps and plan this into the app. I think the over seas little engineers who designed this don’t understand American bbq. When it works properly, this is a good little setup and the temp accuracy is spot on. I hope other people have a better experience with this product since this has much better reviews than my experience.

Excellent meet the thermometer
Outstanding piece of kit for the barbecue. It does a very good job, and I really like the charting feature and the ability to create a history of cooks. MAKE SURE YOU CHARGE IT BEFORE YOU USE IT OR IT WILL QUIT HALFWAY THROUGH YOUR COOK.

If you don’t have one buy one.
Wireless meat thermometers are game changers. I always use them now and the meat is always perfect. The battery has been charged once almost 6 months ago and it’s not even close to needing a recharge. It doesn’t sync to my phone but that’s fine.

Thanksgiving with the turkey
I bought this thermometer on sale and used it for the first time on Thanksgiving with the turkey. Initially, I had some trouble with the app because the company offers multiple apps, and not all of them are compatible with the product. However, once I downloaded the correct app, TempSpike, it worked perfectly. I was impressed by how it captures and reads multiple temperatures from the probes simultaneously. The alert system is fantastic; it vibrates my phone if the temperature is too low or too high, and you can customize the values to your preference. Additionally, it provides suggested temperature settings, which is a great feature. Overall, it’s a reliable and user-friendly tool that made cooking so much easier. Highly recommended!

Trabaja muy bien y se conecto al celular sin problemas, verifique la temperatura con otro termómetro manual que tengo y sin problemas.
