I normally soak using Epsom salts, and I really wasn’t expecting these flakes to be much different. I am so happy to be wrong!I am part of the over 50 crowd, and physical labor really wears me out. After a hard day or work, I soak in 1/2 cup of these Raw Magnesium Flakes and Dead Sea Salts for20 minutes, and I feel pleasantly refreshed. It is wonderful to be able to wake up in the morning ready to do more and not suffering aches and stiffness leftover from previous days. Anything that lets me keep up with those younger than me is a plus.As a psoriasis sufferer, I was hoping that these flakes would have at least some of the healing properties mentioned in the listing. After using them for a few weeks, I can say that I have seen significant improvement in both the appearance of my skin and a lessening of plaques. I look and feel more like a normal person, and I really appreciate that. The rashes are not gone, but they have been reduced by more than 60%. I am hoping that with continued use they will help keep the condition under control.Another plus that I wasn’t expecting was the change in my fingernails. After soaking in these salts, the normally deep ridges in my nails decreased to the point where it looks as if I have buffed them smooth. The effect lasts a few days before I need to soak them again.I greatly appreciate these Magnesium flakes being unscented. For those of us with allergies and sensitivities, it is a blessing. If anyone wishes, they could add their own scents to personalize the product.

Huge Bag, Raw Pure Dead Sea Mag & Salt, So Many Health Benefits
I already alternate using organic bath salts, Borax, Epsom salts, and essential oils which have had great results on my skin and hair (which I started because of psoriasis and migraines – both conditions were healed, migraines ceased after 25 years), but I had never tried magnesium flakes, although I know minerals in general are so important to health, and we don’t usually get enough. I love that this is raw, pure, from the Dead Sea, and also there is Dead Sea Salt in the bag as part of the formulation. And the bag is much bigger than I expected. I did some research and found studies showing that magnesium not only is calming by relieving muscles and stress in the bath, but also it is good for cellular healing, skin hydrating, as well as has anti-microbial, anti-parasitic, anti-fungal, anti-bacterial, and anti-viral properties, which most skin conditions have at the root fungus or parasites or bacterial infections, so that makes sense. Because of being able to heal at the cellular level, this would also help with improving energy and anti-aging. Recommendations were to put 1-3 cups in a warm bath and soak for 15-20 minutes, so I am just using about 1 cup at a time which seems sufficient, and it really is a relaxing natural healing spa treatment for your body and mind.
