BEST HERBAL TEA I’VE EVER TASTED. amazingly sweet, without additives. LOVE IT!
i originally got this tea as a vine reviewer. it was SO GOOD, that when it ran out, i immediately bought (these) two more boxes. i will be buying it routinely, hopefully forever. rather than write a whole new review, i just copied and pasted my review from that (other) vine account, and did a bit of editing and updating. here it is:this is a vietnamese owned and manufactured herbal tea product. its caffeine-free N0T because caffeine has been successfully removed –but because it contained ZERO CAFFEINE from the get-go. way better, don’t you agree? i opted for “nighty night”, due to having sleep problems, but an over-sensitivity to sleep medications, even otc ones. even low dose melatonin makes me loopy, and then groggy the whole next day. the main ingredient is perilla leaf, which is often from the mint family. the least ingredient is jiaogulan, used in chinese traditional medicine as a tonic/general health regulator (think ginseng, gota kola, ashvaghanda, etc. –i.e., herbal and/or natural mild metabolic facilitators). i love that the tea bags are made from corn fiber (standard western tea bags often contain questionable material), and that the “best by” date is october of nearly 2027. that’s about 1.75 years –darned good! (and that’s “best by” –not ‘expiration’.) i’d even guesstimate that this stuff would still be fine 5 years from now. but it’ll be consumed within the month; lol.i love this tea. IT’S THE BEST HERBAL TEA EVER! so i’m reticent to say anything whatsoever that’s even the slightest bit critical. but since it has nothing to do with the product itself and is just commentary about the ‘marketing’, i’m going to indulge once more, and reiterate my thoughts. just bear in mind that it doesn’t affect my excellent opinion of this fantastic product. it just taps into one of my personal pet peeves, in this (overly) ‘consumer culture’ (-oriented) of today’s wacky world:i’m not a fan of the heavy dose of sales promotion messaging that comes with the online listing and the product physical packaging. it leans strongly into ‘we’re the gentle, vegan, good guys who love you and wish you rainbows and happy, healthy stuff –and mother earth too!’ kind of new-age-ified marketing; e.g., “you’re not just drinking tea. you’re practicing self-love and sharing it with the world”. they even claim it has “therapeutic flavor”. well, there’s no such thing as a “flavor” proven to provide any “therapeutic” effect (including in the entire global history of folk remedies and indigenous peoples’ healing systems). so this is just something somebody at this company made up. spare me! L0L. my life-long preference for traditional versus allopathic treatments and health promoting agents –as well as asian over north american/european pharma concoctions, does not include a tendency to mistake marketing for “a natural way to heal…building a sustainable, thriving future”. your corporate ownership is a for-profit pharma, and there’s nothing unusual about that structure including smaller corporate entities or departments or divisions, engaged in specific (even unrelated) endeavors. folksy packaging doesn’t change the fact that you’re a corporate-owned entity. and apparently you have a tea division that produces a vegan, non-chemical/non-processed/non-toxic tea mixture. GREAT! i’m all for it. but please spare me the ‘drink our tea and heal the world’ and/or ‘send a tribal boy to college’ subliminal messaging. but don’t get me wrong –i’m 100% FOR this tea product/brand. i support it wholeheartedly. i’ll even happily give you the main reasons:this mixture includes ingredients that render a discernible set of sweet flavors, which i surmise to be the product of various naturally-occurring sugars in the formula. this is excellent. it’s a far cry from adding sugar. if you need to add any kind of sweetener to this, your flavor palette is distorted from centuries of societal sugar abuse/addiction.seriously, this tea is WONDERFULLY sweet, and far superior (and non-deleterious to health) to any added or processed sugars found in less excellent products. i would highly recommend this tea on that basis alone [‘naturally sweet – no need to add sugar, honey, splenda, stevia, etc.’]. TERRIFIC. I LOVE IT.but let’s not try to kid each other: you’re a steadily growing and diversifying for-profit corporate pharmaceutical conglomerate, strategically expanding into a wider array of natural foods and other non-processed products, focused on natural means of production and intelligent avoidance of needless toxic agents as shortcuts to greater profitability. i even totally accept that you demonstrate integrity and trustworthiness (within the natural limits of corporate purpose, which is never other than generating financial profit and fiscal growth [and growth potential] ).will this tea help people sleep? maybe. IT’S ABSOLUTELY HELPING ME FALL ASLEEP. it does promote drowsiness within 20 to 60 minutes of ingestion. so this may be a FANTASTIC option for sensitive systems. no guarantees, but worth an open-minded try. the worst case scenario would be that it doesn’t have any direct effect on your sleep issues, and you’re left with a super fresh, high-grade, world class, naturally sweet tea, not dependent on (although containing) chamomile (which i’m a fan of, but i know that not everyone is).– Summary:=========* THE BEST TASTING NATURAL (NON-STIMULANT) TEA EVER, OF ALL THE MANY I’VE EXPERIENCED ALL AROUND THE WORLD –INCLUDING THROUGHOUT ASIA.* I EXPERIENCE A REAL EFFECT OF HELPING ME FALL ASLEEP.i’m sold. you’re my new tea of choice, and i will recommend you to all my friends and colleagues. “good night, vietnam!” AMAZON SHOPPER: BUY THIS TEA!! don’t wait, don’t think, JUST BUY IT IMMEDIATELY. you won’t be sorry.

Recommend!
I’ve been drinking this sleeping tea for the past few nights, and it has quickly become part of my nighttime routine. The aroma is calming right from the first steep, with gentle herbal notes that feel soothing without being overpowering. The flavor is smooth and comforting, with no bitter aftertaste, which makes it easy to enjoy even without sweeteners. What I appreciate most is how it helps me unwind. About 30 minutes after drinking it, I feel more relaxed and ready for bed, and my mind feels quieter. I’m not knocked out or groggy—just naturally eased into sleep. I’ve also noticed that I wake up feeling rested rather than sluggish.Overall, this sleeping tea is a great option if you’re looking for a gentle, natural way to relax in the evening. It’s comforting, effective, and perfect for winding down after a long day.

Refreshing
Great little cup of tea for the night. Doesn’t make immediately sleepy but helps

Great night tea
Definitely great to calm down our nerves.

Nasty tasting. Mesh bag with glue on it.
It’s gross. The tea bags are mesh, and the tag is GLUED to the mesh bag so you’re also drinking glue. I thought the tea would be flavorful like traditional medicinals nighty night tea, this is not even close.

Tasty, Soothing, and My New Favorite Ginger Tea
I bought this Ginger Herbal Tea last week, and I’ve been enjoying it every day since. The flavor is warm, soothing, and has a nice “ginger kick” without being too strong. It smells great too—very comforting and refreshing at the same time.I’ve tried other ginger teas before, but this one stands out. It tastes cleaner and more natural, and I love that I can drink it anytime—morning, afternoon, or before bed—without it affecting my sleep. It actually helps me relax, especially in the evenings.Another thing I appreciate is how quickly it steeps and how smooth the taste is. Sometimes I drink it plain, and sometimes I add a little honey depending on my mood. Either way, it’s delicious.Overall, I’m really happy with this tea. I’ll definitely be buying it again, and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves ginger or just wants a calming, soothing drink.
