What is a prenatal vitamin?
A prenatal vitamin is a specifically formulated multivitamin designed to support the unique nutritional needs of women before, during, and after pregnancy. Each serving usually contains higher levels of key nutrients – like folate and iron, as they are essential for the baby’s development, as well as mom’s overall wellness.*
When should I start taking a prenatal vitamin?
It’s often recommended to start taking a prenatal as soon as you begin trying to conceive. This is because many critical aspects of a baby’s development happen in the first few weeks of pregnancy. It’s important to make sure your body has key nutrients, like folate and iron, from the beginning of your fertility journey to lay a strong foundation for fetal development.* If you’re planning to get pregnant soon, it’s a smart idea to start to incorporate a prenatal into your daily routine. As always, consult with your healthcare provider to ensure it’s the proper fit.

Everything I was looking for
I’m really happy with these prenatal vitamins. They include all the basic nutrients I was looking for in a prenatal, which made it easy to feel confident choosing them without having to combine multiple supplements. They’re easy to take and gentle on my stomach, which is something I pay close attention to with prenatals. I also appreciate that the ingredient list feels straightforward and well balanced, covering the essentials without unnecessary extras. The packaging is clear and informative, and the vitamins arrived fresh and well sealed. Overall, these prenatals are a solid, reliable option for anyone looking for a comprehensive daily prenatal with the basics covered. I would definitely recommend them.

Great ingredients.
They work great and I feel good about the ingredients in them . They are the best prenatal I have found yet . When I told my doctor he said it was a very good brand. I recommend taking them at night they do upset my stomach a bit for about 15 mins . Try to eat a snack before taking them . The pills themselves are pretty big so if you have trouble swallowing pills probably don’t go with this option.

Excellent overall
Excellent vitamin if you can tolerate the taste! Awful taste that dissolves quickly on your tongue. I usually have some coffee right after to mask the taste. Other than that all my lab results show high levels across

If you want a smart baby take these
These vitamins were purchased after my nuerotic friend thoroughly researched them and recommended to me. I liked them because it was a once a day pill HOWEVER as someone who gags on an Advil I will say the size sucks. That being said I’m pretty sure all prenatal vitamins are horse pills and the gummy ones taste horrible. Both my children cam out great so Overall I recommend.

Great vegan prenatal
A great prenatal, now using for postpartum. No funny smell/taste and easy to digest. Easy to swallow as I take multiple supplements at a time

Great vitamin but too big for me
Im giving it 4 stars for 2 reasons. 1. These pills are big! I can barely swallow pills so I have to cut them in half and honestly these pills are so big I had to cut them in 3rds! And 2. They kinda smell and taste strong! Now I got these bc I started taking prenatal and the ingredients are wonderful! But I couldn’t get over the taste and the size!If you don’t have a problem swallowing big pills and dont mind the taste these are a great option! I opted into a different brand with great ingredients but in gummy form bc a lot of these vitamins are huge! They didnt bother my stomach or anything and its probably bc the ingredient are very clean. Overall good product but not for me.

So far so good
I’ve been taking these 3 out of the 5.5 months of being pregnant. The switch was mainly because I didn’t want to take so many vitamins in one day (the last one I took required 3 tablets a day and it was just too much to keep up with). I could not stand the taste of these vitamins. Since they’re a good size I would pop one in and mentally prepare to swallow. These vitamins disolve quickly and I kept gagging them up because of the taste. Thankfully organic chocolate milk masks the flavor for me so I haven’t had anymore issues with taking them. I do also take fish oil supplements as well (2 a day) so I technically take 3 tablets total which was a lot better than the 7 I started with. Lol so far I feel great on them. I take them first thing in the morning and take a snack afterwards. No stomach issues. I have noticed my breast feel engorged when taking these consistently so I’m curious whether they’ll help with breastfeeding. Crossing my fingers!
