I would give this more stars if possible.This is the perfect weight, and size for me.I’m 5’6″, and it’s perfect for me.It’s like a comforting hug, without being too much!I think it’s made a difference in my sleep.It’s soft, but not velvety soft. It’s well made, and seems durable.I would recommend this weighted blanket.(I bought the smallest size, and in the 5lbs option.)

I,was using a electric blanket, but when I got this one I put the electric one up, it’s warm,soft and comfy, not heavy, I would recommend this blanket.

Great for new kids sleeping over or a sick kid
My 9 year old suffers from migraines which makes his tummy hurt and his body shake causing his body to ache after it’s over. This helps keep his from shaking as much. Perfect fit for his size and age. We also use it when his friends spend the night. It helps them feel comfortable and safe in an unusual house. Most of his friends call this home now and still ask for the blanket because they love it so much. It’s just the right amount of heavy and not too hot. Even my fur babies love it.

Images are misleading
The blanket I received does not look like the blanket in the picture. The pockets are actually much larger, which does not allow for even weight distribution; I ordered this blanket because of the smaller pockets that were pictured, so I was not happy to find out that I was misled by the image of the blanket. Regardless, the recipient of the blanket is satisfied. Plus, the blanket is machine washable.

Well made, and easy to maintain and clean. I was it in the wash and hang dry. I layer two of these during winter to keep me extra cozy but one is just the right amount of weight to not squish you.Would buy again
