I’ve been using this food scale for about five months now and it’s become one of those kitchen tools I didn’t know I needed until I had it. The stainless steel surface makes cleanup super easy. Just wipe it down and you’re done. No weird crevices or textured surfaces where crumbs and sticky stuff can hide.The platform is pretty spacious too, which I really appreciate. I can fit a large mixing bowl on there without it hanging off the edges or feeling unstable. Makes a huge difference when I’m portioning out ingredients for meal prep.Accuracy has been solid. I’ve been getting into sourdough baking lately, and when you’re dealing with hydration percentages and starter ratios, precision actually matters. This scale has handled everything I’ve thrown at it without any issues. Plus, the weight capacity is impressive. I’ve weighed some hefty bags of flour and big containers without maxing it out.The digital display is clear and easy to read even in different lighting conditions. No squinting or tilting my head to see the numbers, which sounds minor but makes daily use so much smoother.Whether you’re tracking macros, baking, or just trying to cook more precisely, this thing handles it all. This is a really nice, quality item. It arrives nicely packaged and includes the AAA batteries you need to power it. A note on the batteries – my previous set of scales used a CR ‘button’ type battery which always caused an issue in that I would have to order a new one when the last one failed, with the AAA, they are much easier to source which is so much more convenient when you’re trying to weigh the dog’s breakfast in a hurry.The scale has a lovely, high quality look and feels so much nicer than the black plastic one it replaces.It also has a backlit LCD display which is fantastic on these dark Scottish mornings when you’re used to squinting at a non-lit screen when trying to measure the aforementioned dog’s breakfast.At the current price (£12.99), I think this is excellent value and I wholeheartedly recommend these.

This scale has exceeded my expectations. I’ve had mixed results with measurements using cups and tablespoons etc. this takes the guess work out. Very useful for home brewing as you want precise measurements by weight. The scale is easy to use the display is easy to read and it has changed the way I bake and brew. This little scale does the job.

Not the biggest scale but it is quite accurate. I tested vs a old salter scale that I’ve used for years and found that it reads within +/-1g of the other scale so I am very happy with the accuracy. It has a metal plate which makes it very easy to clean and a backlight digital display which is very easy to read. Another great feature of this scale is that it takes 2xAAA batteries, which are included, but can be replaced with rechargeable batteries rather than the standard CR2032 batteries that other scales I’ve used have. Overall very pleased

I really like this set of scales. The large capacity means I can weigh everything from flour to big vegetables without any issues, and it is appears to be very accurate, down to a gram, which is great for baking.The full-view backlit display is easy to read from any angle, even if the kitchen light is a bit dim.I like that it has a tare function and multiple units, so I can quickly switch between grams, ounces, millilitres or pounds depending on what I am measuring.The stainless steel is sturdy and easy to wipe clean. It is also of course nice and compact, so it does not take up much space in a cupboard.I also like that it comes with two AAA batteries rather than the larger watch batteries that so many scales use. AAA batteries are easy to find and last a lot longer, so it feels much more practical.Overall it is a solid, reliable scale for cooking, baking, or meal prep and it even comes in a box which makes it nice for gifting.
