I just got my scale and it won’t turn on. Help!
Make sure you’ve removed the plastic pull tab from the battery slot located at the back of your scale. The scale won’t turn on until the batteries are activated. If you’ve already done this and it still doesn’t work, reach out to us so we can help.
If I want to measure ingredients in a container, how do I subtract the weight of the container from the total?
Turn the scale on and place your container on the weighing surface first. Then, press the ZERO button once. When you’re done, remove all items from the scale and press ZERO again, or just turn your scale off to reset the tare function.
My scale keeps saying “HHHH” in the weight area. What can I do?
Unfortunately, that code means your scale is broken and needs to be replaced. While we never want a defective scale to get to a customer, occasionally it can happen–which is why we’ll replace defective scales for up to five years after purchase!
My scale says “UNST” in the weight area. What does this mean?
The scale is “Unstable” and needs to settle before use. The whole surface of the scale is a weighing mechanism, anything touching it will keep it from settling completely. Place the scale on a hard, flat surface and quickly press the ON/OFF button.
Where does the nutritional information come from?
The scale contains data derived directly from a U.S. Department of Agriculture database. The data given is presumed to be accurate for the sample the government tested, but there can be significant variability in samples of the same types of food.
𝗡𝗼 𝗔𝗽𝗽 𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱: Built-in nutrition data for instant, offline use. No apps or accounts needed. Use as a regular food scale or track macros privately with the optional code lookup app.

Love it
Loved it easy to use, great price and not too heavy or thick, the quality and accuracy I would say it on point. So far everything is functioning how it should be and the battery life is good.

Nice scale, 5 year warranty.
Likes: Number one for me is that I LOVE the display since it mirrors the label format that is on packaged foods. The code book and instructions are online if you lose your book. Online support. Easy to learn to use. Accurate.Attractive. I store mine in a plastic IKEA magazine holder when not in use. No seams on the glass anywhere so that germs won’t lurk. Easily wiped off but not waterproof–I feel this is unnecessary barring big accidents with liquids.”Okays” and limitations:Can’t use decimals for nutrient values. You must round up or down or double the weight in order to get whole numbers. I figure this compromise on accuracy makes no difference.Shuts off automatically to save the batteries. No micronutrients are listed, if you need that. You need to track your food codes manually by writing them down. It would be great if the app allowed you to save your codes!I wish it had a USB charger vs batteries. It is very accurate. I checked it with items of known weight. You can put your container on the scale before turning it on and it will automatically zero (deduct the weight of the container).I like the feature that allows you to add food codes of frequently eaten items. I wish there were more than 99 custom codes though I honestly don’t know that I need to save that many.No barcode scanning. The code book is pretty limited….some regular foods like a fresh apple are not listed. Go figure. But never fear, there is an app you can download that seems to have many more codes “Perfect Portions.” You can Favorite your frequently used foods in the app.I use a tracking app called CarbManager where I can scan actual bar codes for packaged food. These can be put in the scale as a Custom Code once you have the data. I look up fresh food data on a reputable online database so I have more choices than what is included in the Perfect Portion app. This scale helps me to accurately assemble a recipe and know what nutrients are in it. Further, I can determine a what a serving size is by figuring the carbs (in my case) per gram and adjust accordingly–I then change the serving size in my custom CarbManager recipe so I know how much I can consume without going over my limits. You can add serial foods to a container to make up a dish with several ingredients and it calculates individual and total nutrients. You can save nutrients for the whole day by using the same function. The manual gives very clear instructions for this and you can contact support online too.Overall, with a little ingenuity and good tracking (either with an app or manual) this scale can help you to conveniently form an very accurate picture of your nutrients to manage carbs, calories, and other macronutrients. Though it’s impossible to find a scale or app to do it all, this scale is awesome for the price, is easy to use, has a great warranty and good support. Excellent accuracy, max 10 lbs.

Nice design, easy to use, needs better food list
Hi all, I rarely post reviews but wanted share that the scale looks really nice, elegant and is one of those appliances you can leave displayed. I got it yesterday and used is multiple times already for measuring portions or ingredients.About the app: like previously noted in the reviews, the app needs to be updated with the number of items and adjusted for an easier search. For example, non fat yogurt is not among the items in the app, which is strange. Also, when you search in the app, the entire folder comes up, not exactly the item you searched for, making it more challenging to find what you are looking for quickly. An example, I searched for French baguette, and had to scroll through three folders to see what is the closest to that. I think non fat yogurt and French baguette are pretty basic. If the company keeps updating the food list to bring it closer to what is in MyFittnesspal, it would be incredibly useful little appliance for understanding the macro side of nutrition without having to Google or use one of the other food apps.I am still giving it four stars since I really like the design and display. I think I will use it as a regular kitchen scale until the app is more developed and look up the nutrient info somewhere else.

Perfect for macro tracking
I’ve been using this macro tracking scale for a while now, and I must say, it’s been an absolute game-changer. One of the standout features for me is its simplicity and accuracy. Unlike other scales I’ve used in the past, this one is incredibly easy to use and consistently accurate in its measurements. What sets this scale apart is its ability to simplify macro tracking by allowing you to select individual foods. This feature has made my meal planning and tracking efforts significantly easier and more efficient. Instead of manually calculating each ingredient’s nutritional values, I can simply weigh each component directly on the scale, and it does the hard work for me.The scale’s precision is impressive, ensuring that I get precise measurements every time. Whether I’m weighing out a portion of chicken breast, vegetables, or even a handful of nuts, I can trust that the scale’s readings are spot on. This level of accuracy is crucial for anyone serious about monitoring their macronutrient intake.Another aspect I appreciate is its sleek design and user-friendly interface. The scale is compact yet robust, fitting seamlessly into my kitchen without taking up too much space. The buttons are intuitive, making it easy to navigate through different food options and adjust settings as needed.Overall, this macro tracking scale has exceeded my expectations. It has simplified my macro tracking process and given me the confidence that I’m accurately monitoring what I eat. If you’re looking to take control of your nutrition and make tracking macros effortless, I highly recommend giving this scale a try. This extended version provides more detail about the scale’s features, usability, and benefits, making it a comprehensive review for potential buyers.

les codes pour la balance sont en anglais donc pas très pratique pour faire la recherche, on perd un temps fou. Au bout d’une semaine d’utilisation j’ai arrêté à cause de cela.
