The haters don’t know how to use a thermometer
Works. People who say this doesn’t work don’t know how to use/read a thermometer.***First of all*** You MUST shake it down before you use it the first time. It wasn’t easy to shake down the first time. You have to get a good cracking motion with your wrist.If you can’t see the liquid/get a reading, or if it looks “eMpTy” (eye roll, they’re NOT empty), SHAKE IT DOWN. It’s not hard to see the fluid once it’s shaken down.It’s easy to use and seems to take the reading fast. I held it under my tongue for 3-4 minutes.I haven’t compared it to another one but the temp seems accurate. Battery ones die so I won’t compare it to one of those.Size is good. Just like the mercury ones we had when I was a kid. And the batteries will never die.

No Fahrenheit-Celcius only- and it doesn’t work
Terrible thermometer celsius only.. And it doesn’t work correctly. You can’t read it. Definitely do NOT purchase. It should have been very clear up front that it was celsius only!

This is actually a decent thermometer
Okay boys and girls, here’s a good old fashioned oral thermometer. I wanted to have a reliable instrument that didn’t rely on batteries in a emergency situation. After having used it during a few illnesses, this reliable instrument impressed me enough to buy a second as a backup as finding a decent oral thermometer seems to be a frustrating task nowadays.Nice and sturdy build, that doesn’t feel awkward in your mouth. Appears to be accurate as it matched what my fancy digital thermometer read. Also the scale and indication is reasonably readable. I also like the fact that it comes with a decent case to store it in.

A piece of junk!!
A piece of trash!! Do not order. It is in centegrade and will NOT ago back to a low temperature regardless of how much flicks of the wrist. It came with a high temperature reading and will not budge.

Don’t buy no returns
This item is advertised incorrectly. I carefully reviewed the listing before purchasing, and it clearly states that the product displays both Fahrenheit and Celsius. The listing even includes photos showing both temperature options. I paid extra specifically to receive the Fahrenheit feature.When the item arrived today, it only displays Celsius. There is no Fahrenheit option at all. To make matters worse, the seller does not accept returns.This is misleading advertising. Buyer beware

Not able to measure temperature
The numbers on the side to measure temperature is something I don’t understand
